A Catholic education is a serious investment, but one that offers an abundance of tangible and intangible benefits to your child and your family. Every effort is made to keep tuition at an affordable level and to provide assistance to families who demonstrate a sincere commitment to Catholic schooling.
St. Peter's uses FACTS Tuition Management for tuition payment processing, class fees, and tuition assistance applications. (See the Tuition & FACTS letter, below, for details.)
Tuition Subsidy Policy
As the school is a ministry of the parishes of St. Peter in Chains and St. Julie Billiart, a significant portion (roughly 35-40%) of the cost to educate each child is underwritten by the parishes. Families pay the difference in the form of tuition.
A base tuition rate, which includes discounts for families with multiple students and a tuition subsidy grant, is set for all families. The goal of the tuition subsidy rate is to encourage a vibrant and healthy parish community while striving for fairness in the use of parish monies to subsidize tuition.
It is expected that families seeking a Catholic school tuition subsidy grant will support the life of the parish by sharing their time, talent, and treasure. Because our greatest treasure is the Word and Sacrament, the most important test of membership is active participation in Sunday worship. (For full tuition subsidy policy, see document below.)
