Inspired by our vibrant Catholic faith and a strong sense of community, St. Peter in Chains School prepares students to live and lead in a changing world. 
 
Centrally located in the heart of Hamilton’s revitalized West Side, St. Peter’s welcomes families from across the region. Here, students receive excellent preparation for high school and beyond, through a curriculum that prioritizes the development of strong minds and strong character. 
 
Our teachers provide a superb education within a safe and nurturing environment for children in full-day kindergarten through 8^th grade. In addition, we offer a Quality Star rated preschool and year-round, full-day early childcare on our campus through a partnership with the Great Miami Valley YMCA. 
 
Premier Academics

• Thanks to a rigorous curriculum that features advanced mathematics (grades 7-8) and foreign language (K-8), St. Peter’s graduates frequently test out of Algebra I and Spanish I as high school freshman. 

• The nationally recognized Project Lead the Way brings innovative and hands-on STEM learning to students in K-8.

• Grades 3-8 benefit from a 1:1 Google Chrome Book program. Students in the primary grades have access to shared tablets and Chrome Books.

• An intervention specialist, speech-language pathologist, and school-based support worker are available to students and families. 

• Students at all levels enjoy the use of our newly renovated and expanded science lab and makerspace.

• A schoolwide “Virtues” program celebrates Christian and Catholic morality and encourages students to make virtuous choices in all aspects of their life. 

• A focus on community service, including mandatory service hours, builds empathy and fosters a sense of civic mindedness and social justice. 

• Our Buddy Program nurtures mutually beneficial mentor-mentee relationships between older and younger children.
